During the current pandemic we have been monitoring Government guidelines on a daily basisĀ  and following recommendations as appropriate.

These unprecedented circumstances have required us to review our landlord services. Whilst the Government have not as yet put in place working restrictions, we are monitoring the official guidelines daily.

During the crisis we will continue to:

  • Collect and account to you for rents received
  • Be available via phone and email
  • Engage contractors for emergency and/or priority maintenance issues wherever possible, dependent on Government guidance
  • Advertise & market properties for rent
  • Offer viewings to prospective tenants wherever possible whist complying with Government restrictions

There will be inevitably be disruption to our operations particularly given that we ordinarily carry out maintenance visits and property inspections etc, and we will be restricting any non-essential services as dictated by Government guidance.

This might include:

  • Suspending property inspections
  • Modifying our inventory and/or check in process
  • Disruption to maintenance visits and viewings by prospective tenants
  • Staff working remotely from home
  • Amendments to working hours and working arrangements

As there may be issues securing rental payments from some tenants; we strongly recommend all landlords consider their ongoing finances, possibly transferring funds accordingly and instigate early correspondence with mortgage lenders where applicable.

It is our expectation that the great majority of tenants’ rental payments will continue to be made in accordance with their tenancy agreement unless the Government introduces emergency measures to assist tenants.

We will continue to provide further guidance as available in order to minimise disruption of our services to you.
