From 1st October 2015 The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015 place increased responsibilities on Landlords to ensure that working smoke alarms are installed in all rented properties.

  • Have a carbon monoxide alarm in any room with a solid fuel appliance
  • Ensure all alarms are working on the first day of a new tenancy
